Located in Griffith Park’s Old Zoo, just a short drive from Hollywood, Glendale, Burbank, and most of Los Angeles. You are welcomed to classic Hayride experience, but this pleasant ride quickly turns frightful upon entering “Midnight Falls”, where all sorts of scary creatures and experiences happen. This Halloween experience offers haunted mazes, mini escape rooms, haunted house, and in between you can grab a bite to eat. The tickets come in a range of prices as low as $35. But consider yourself warned, this event is not recommended for children below 12!
Queen Mary is located in Long Beach, just a short drive away from the Greater Los Angeles area. This is a ship that has been docked since 1967 and has 150 known spirits lurking. This haunted history certainly adds to the fear factor of the Dark Harbor experience. You can experience the haunted ship year round, but the Dark Harbor event takes place only through October with tickets starting at $34. The experience offers mazes (within the actual ship), food, alcohol drinks, and live entertainment. This is one of the few events that actually has a haunted history. This frightful experience is for ages 13+.
